Stuart W. Peltz, Ph.D. is a co-founder of PTC, member of the board of directors and President and Chief Executive Officer since the company's inception in 1998. Prior to founding PTC, Dr. Peltz was a Professor in the Department of Molecular Genetics and Microbiology at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. Dr. Peltz has published over 80 publications in the area of post-transcriptional control processes. Dr. Peltz received his Ph.D. from the McArdle Laboratory for Cancer Research at the University of Wisconsin.
