PTC Therapeutics Announces Proposed Public Offering of Common Stock

SOUTH PLAINFIELD, N.J., Oct. 8, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- PTC Therapeutics, Inc. (NASDAQ: PTCT) announced today that it is commencing an underwritten public offering of 3,000,000 shares of its common stock pursuant to an automatically effective shelf registration statement that was previously filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission. All of the shares in the offering are to be sold by PTC. PTC intends to grant the underwriters an option for a period of 30 days to purchase up to an additional 450,000 shares of common stock. The offering is subject to market conditions and other factors, and there can be no assurance as to whether or when the offering may be completed.
